Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste (8 turns at least on grinder, more for pepper)
  • 1 cup cooked, chopped ham
  • 6oz shredded cheese
  • Green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Unroll and set up pie crust in pie dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
  • Sprinkle solid ingredients in pie crust and pour in the cheese and egg mixture.
  • Mix up the solid ingredients a bit with a fork.
  • Bake on bottom rack for 35-45 minutes or until completely set.
    • Quiche is ready when a knife can be stuck in the quiche and pulled cleanly out without egg residue. Watch those crust edges! Cover with tinfoil if necessary.
  • Cool 5-10 min and serve!
