In a large mixing bowl, manually combine the ground beef, panko, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix by hand until smooth and no further (the mixture can become too dense and heavy).
Divide the hamburger into 4 parts and form into balls.
Press down the patties and shape them just larger than the buns. Use a spoon to dent the center so they don’t puff up as they cook. Stack with wax paper if necessary.
Preheat the pan or skillet to medium heat (350-400°F).
