Ingredients

  • Ground Turkey
  • Peppers (your choice)
  • Yellow onion
  • Black Beans
  • Basmati Rice
  • Spice blend: Salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the turkey
  2. Add diced veggies
  3. Add spices (see above)
  4. Cook 5 mins
  5. Add 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water plus salt
  6. Bring to a simmer
  7. Cover and cook on low for 15 mins (do not peek!)
  8. Add can of drained black beans and stir
  9. Eat!
